Ryan - thanks so much for the shoutout. Another great list this week - and I don’t just say that because I’m privileged to be on it. You did a great job of expanding on my piece. Thanks for adding your own value to it!

You’re welcome! I truly enjoyed the article. I don’t like that same old leadership and org takes. I believe we need to think different and be unique in how we take on and assess today’s issues. You’re article did that for me, so thanks!

You’re welcome! It was a well-written article and the content, I felt, was perfect for the leadoff spot in the list this week. Foundational leadership is built on trust and authentic relationships. Without them you may have compliance, but not much else.

Ryan, I appreciate you including my piece here. That article came from seeing too many leaders inherit problems no one had the courage to address early. Glad it resonated.

You’re welcome! I thoroughly enjoyed your article, and it’s something I’ve seen happen plenty of times and yet how to handle it is never truly discussed. At least not in a well thought-out manner.

Ryan, I really appreciate that. After three decades in the corporate world, I’ve seen this pattern repeat more times than I can count: someone is underperforming and no one says it because the conversation is uncomfortable, teams sit in meetings nodding, even when they disagree, avoiding real discussion. Time gets wasted, not because people don’t know what to do, but because emotions get in the way of clear thinking. My work is about turning those messy human moments into simple leadership systems people can actually use. If AI takes more cognitive load off our plates, I believe we have no excuse not to get better at the human work we’ve avoided for too long. The leaders who choose to step into it change the game for themselves. I’ve seen it happen too many times to dismiss.

It’s a privilege to be included in this list alongside these other perspectives. What strikes me about this specific collection of articles is how they all circle the same drain: the messy reality of actually doing the work, not just another set of "best practices" that don't work in the trenches. And your selection felt like a reminder that clarity of perspective > quantity of output.
